Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support our growing personal injury practice throughout the Kansas City Metro area.

As a key member of our litigation team, you will provide comprehensive support throughout the life cycle of personal injury cases, including:

• Managing a substantial caseload from litigation through resolution
• Drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Coordinating the collection and review of medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation
• Assisting attorneys with case strategy, trial preparation, and mediation preparation
• Scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical case files
• Communicating regularly with clients, medical providers, experts, and insurance representatives
• Preparing exhibits, witness files, and trial notebooks
• Monitoring court deadlines and ensuring compliance with filing requirements
  
  

• 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury law
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
• Experience handling discovery, medical record analysis, and trial preparation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with relevant experience
