Key Responsibilities
* Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
* Conduct written and oral discovery, including taking and defending depositions
* Prepare case evaluations, coverage analyses, and strategy recommendations for insurers
* Communicate directly with claims adjusters, insureds, and corporate clients
* Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and pretrial proceedings
* Assist with trial preparation and attend trial as opportunities arise
Qualifications
* J.D. from an accredited law school
* Licensed to practice in Wisconsin (or eligibility to become licensed promptly)
* 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
* Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage cases independently with attention to detail
* Comfort interacting with clients, carriers, and witnesses
* A proactive mindset and eagerness to grow within the insurance defense field

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
