Insurance Coverage Attorney
Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation/Coverage Attorney to join their Seattle-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise insurer clients on insurance coverage matters involving complex factual and legal issues
- Analyze and interpret insurance policies, coverage positions, and exclusions
- Represent insurers in coverage-related litigation at the trial and appellate levels
- Participate in and manage matters resolved through mediation, arbitration, and other ADR forums
- Draft pleadings, motions, coverage opinions, and related legal memoranda
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation and resolution strategies
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience handling insurance coverage matters
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the State of Washington
- Experience supporting insurer clients in coverage analysis, litigation, and ADR
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively within a team environment
