Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills; execute repairs promptly to reduce downtime.
- Conduct welding tasks, including
welding techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship aligned with safety standards. - Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess electrical components and circuits—both low voltage and high voltage.
- Operate field service tools like scissor lifts and industrial lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support during production shifts.
Preferred Requirements
- Proven industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including industrial electrician skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and control diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding, and precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, low voltage circuits, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external clients.
- Field service experience is preferred; military background is a plus for disciplined troubleshooting skills.
