Automotive Technician / State Inspector (Total Car Care & Transmission Specialist)
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. This position involves total car care diagnostics and repair, as well as removal and replacement of transmissions.
We are looking for a technician who is either Virginia State Inspector certified or willing to obtain certification with our support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles (domestic and import)
- Complete general automotive services including brakes, suspension, steering, and engine work
- Remove and replace transmissions efficiently and accurately
- Conduct vehicle inspections in compliance with Virginia state regulations (or obtain certification)
- Accurately document work performed and communicate findings with service advisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Automotive repair experience required (experience level flexible for the right candidate)
- Ability to perform transmission R&R (or strong willingness to learn)
- Virginia State Inspector License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools
