For This Role
As a Deputy Clerk, you will be a vital member of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of court processes and the accurate handling of legal records. Your work will directly support the administration of justice in Adams County.
What You’ll Do
- ·Serve as the first point of contact for clients and callers
- Prepare, process, and file legal documents and court records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Administer oaths, manage evidence, and maintain case files for court proceedings
- Record and balance payments, court fees, and receipts
- Coordinate and schedule court proceedings and staff assignments
- Deliver exceptional customer service to the public, attorneys, and court officials in person, by phone, and via email
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting materials for the Clerk’s Office
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of integrity
