Description
Performs intermediate skilled administrative support work managing the daily operations of the office, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Extension Director.
Examples of Duties
Manages the daily operations of the office; ensures office coverage; provides training and guidance to staff; assists Department Head/Area Extension Director.- Provides customer service face-to-face, via phone, email, and social media; determines the nature of the request; assists in problem identification and resolution; provides direction to appropriate Extension staff/University resources or staff or to County/State resources or staff.
- Creates and produces a variety of materials to include letters, newsletters, flyers, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, etc. Assists in maintenance of the Department website and social media site(s).
- Community Center: Manages room or event scheduling; Monitors and changes reservations; Collects and deposits fees; Tracks building keys; Answers questions; Determines allowable uses; Develops Community Center user guidelines
- Manages Department budget and finances; reviews and sends invoices; prepares and approves vouchers and other financial documents and forms; tracks non-lapsing accounts; works with Department Head/Area Extension Director in developing an annual budget; attends required budget planning meetings.
- Performs other related functions and duties as assigned or required.

Essential Qualifications
Associates/Technical degree in office management, accounting, or related field, and considerable experience in office management, customer service/relations, budgets, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. WordPress, Google, Microsoft Office, Adobe Express and 4H Online Training required.
