We are currently seeking a Hybrid Veterinary Assistant/Technician & Customer Service Representative to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and feels comfortable balancing hands-on patient care with client communication and front-desk responsibilities.
Position Overview
This hybrid role will rotate between the treatment area and the front desk, supporting both our medical team and our client service team. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced veterinary setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Veterinary Assistant / Technician Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Safely restrain animals and support patient care
- Prepare and clean exam rooms and treatment areas
- Collect patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist with lab work, diagnostics, treatments, and pharmacy needs (based on experience and credentials)
- Support patient comfort and safety at all times
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities
- Greet clients and create a welcoming, positive experience
- Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently
- Process payments and review invoices with clients
- Educate clients on services, treatments, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate client and patient information in the medical system
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary clinic, animal care, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor
- Ability to switch between clinical and front-desk duties as needed
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Some evenings and/or Saturdays may be required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $18–$21/hour
