Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofing-Subcontractor to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, tile, and membrane products
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and effectively on construction sites
- Perform surface preparation tasks including framing, metal stud framing, and concrete forming as needed for roofing structures
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas for restoration or further work
- Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure seamless project flow
- Follow safety protocols diligently while performing heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, welding, tile laying, plumbing integration, and other related tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating and working on roofing projects with a solid understanding of roofing materials and techniques
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations including blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication techniques relevant to roofing and general construction
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry, metal stud framing, plumbing integration, restoration work, welding, tile installation, and stucco application
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing components related to roofing systems is a plus
- Prior handyman experience or general remodeling background is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment
