🚌 Maintenance Responsibilities
Support the preventative maintenance and repair of Center facilities and grounds 🚧🛠️. Performs routine maintenance and inspections of Center facilities and systems to ensure proper functionality and prevent disruptions to student and staff services.
📋 Maintenance Documentation & Oversight
Completes, tracks, and documents work status accurately and promptly, notifying the supervisor of any issues or concerns identified during maintenance or transportation activities 📝⚠️.
🎓 Student Supervision & Development
May supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning students to enhance employability skills and provide industry-relevant, hands-on training 👷♀️👷♂️. May also supervise Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Student Workers assigned to the department.
🚌 Student Transportation Services
Provides timely and efficient student transportation services as required 🚐⏱️. Maintains all required vehicle documentation in accordance with Department of Labor and Company requirements 📑.
🔧 Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary 🛠️. Conducts regular vehicle inspections and reports safety issues or concerns to the supervisor to ensure compliance and safe operation 🚨.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Advanced education or certifications preferred
- Previous experience working with youth preferred
- Previous experience in OSHA-regulated environments, HVAC, or manufacturing industries preferred
- Valid in-state driver’s license required
- Must meet company insurability requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, lift, carry, push, pull, reach, stoop, and crouch as required
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to assess lifting requirements and request assistance when needed to ensure safe work practices
