Position Summary
The Safety & Security Advisor supports a secure residential campus environment by supervising student activity, responding to incidents, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring compliance with all center policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support safety and security operations across the center
- Conduct routine security tours and monitor student activity
- Enforce safety, security, and occupational health standards
- Respond to emergencies and assist with incident investigations
- Complete accurate and timely incident and accident reports
- Recommend corrective actions based on findings
- Supervise and support student behavior and accountability
- Assist with dorm inspections and contraband searches as needed
- Maintain visitor control and facility security procedures
- Collaborate with staff across departments to support student services
- Communicate clearly through written and verbal reports

Available Schedules
Schedule Option 1
- Wed–Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sat–Sun: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Mon–Tues: Off
Schedule Option 2
- Mon–Thurs: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Sat–Sun: Off
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
