What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agricultural Chem Lab Tech - 3rd Shift Position position at ADAMA?
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on lab work and has an interest in agricultural chemistry? We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our overnight team. This role plays an important part in supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring product quality. This position offers a hiring bonus.
What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping the lab clean, organized, and safe
- Receiving and tracking samples, and coordinating testing
- Performing chemical and physical tests using standard methods
- Operating and maintaining lab equipment
- Analyzing data and helping adjust plant operations to meet quality standards
- Recording results in lab books and spreadsheets
- Following safety procedures and using protective equipment
- Assisting with training new lab technicians
- Monitoring lab supplies and restocking as needed
- Supporting other lab tasks as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Comfortable working independently and with a team
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic tools
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow
Education and experience:
- High school diploma required (chemistry coursework preferred)
- Associate degree in science is a plus
Physical requirements:
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to stand, sit, climb stairs, and perform tasks requiring vision and hearing

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
