Assistant Manager

Adam's Royal Car Wash is a family-owned and operated company serving Pennsylvania since 2014, now with three locations. We're looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead our Gilbertsville team — someone who takes pride in a clean site, a happy customer, and a crew that works well together. You'll report directly to the owner, and for the right person this role is a path to running your own site as we grow.

What you'll do:

- Help run day-to-day operations of the wash, including opening and closing the site

- Lead, train, and motivate a team of attendants and operators

- Deliver outstanding customer service and calmly resolve customer concerns

- Handle cash management: daily reconciliation, deposits, and register audits

- Use our point-of-sale and wash management software (we'll train you on our system)

- Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with ordering

- Perform light mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on wash equipment

- Enforce safety procedures and keep the facility clean, organized, and guest-ready

- Assist with hiring, scheduling, and developing the team

What we're looking for:

- Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude

- Solid computer skills (point-of-sale systems, email, basic spreadsheets)

- Mechanical aptitude — comfortable with tools and learning how our equipment works

- A true team player who leads by example

- Car wash experience is a plus, but not required — we will train the right person

- Leadership, supervisory, or shift-lead experience preferred

- Able to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends (shifts run 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

- Local candidates only: must live within approximately 10 miles of our Gilbertsville location and be able to reach the wash quickly when urgent site needs arise

- Physically able to stand for a full shift, lift up to 30 lbs, and bend, reach, and work in a wet environment

- Able to perform all essential physical functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation

- Comfortable working on your feet, indoors and outdoors, in all weather

- Must be 18 years or older

- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

- Bank account for direct deposit

- Must pass a criminal background check

- Professional, well-groomed appearance required; company grooming standards apply

- High school diploma or GED
