Duties
- Supervise landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, gardening, pruning, planting, and irrigation system installation and repairs
- Lead and coordinate landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and specifications
- Manage and mentor a team of crew members, providing guidance on techniques, safety protocols, and best practices in horticulture and construction
- Oversee tree care operations such as pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote healthy growth
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met and safety procedures are followed
- Assist with equipment maintenance and proper use of tools to maximize efficiency and safety
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project goals are achieved seamlessly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping projects
- Strong background in horticulture, gardening, lawn care, and irrigation systems
- Knowledge of construction practices related to outdoor environments and landscape installation
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including pruning and health assessments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance on job sites
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively
