What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Laborer / Foreman position at DeSantis Landscape LLC?
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Laborer and Foreman to join our team. Work will primarily take place in the Plymouth, Michigan area, with job sites extending up to a 25-mile radius (occasional exceptions may apply).
In this role, you will assist with a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects, including lawn maintenance, installation work, and outdoor construction tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Lawn care and maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging, etc.)
- Mulching and seasonal cleanups
- Hardscape installation (including pavers, patios, and walkways)
- Grading and drainage work
- Tree care tasks such as planting, stump removal, and tree removal support
- General labor and job site cleanup
- Operating landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $20/hour
- $23/hour if able to drive a truck and trailer
- Pay may be negotiated based on experience
