Health Educator

Adagio Health is looking to hire a full-time Health Educator serve Mercer and Crawford County partners. The pay for this position is $19.40/hour.

The Health Educator will support the implementation of:

1. Teen Outreach Program (TOP)- a social-emotional and community service learning curricula designed for middle and high school youth.
2. Healthy Relationships Toolkit (HeaRT) - a comprehensive model to provide middle school students with the knowledge and skills they need to have healthy, safe relationships.
3. Additional programs related to public health and prevention as applicable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Initiates and delivers education in a variety of settings.
2. Ensures curricula is delivered as intended following program guidance and guidelines.
3. Delivers engaging, interactive, and concise lessons.
4. Builds relationships with program partners to enhance program delivery and effectiveness.
5. Maintains regular communication with program partners.
6. Initiates, leads, and provides technical assistance on supporting projects-based partner needs.
7. Completes all required documentation, data tracking, and data entry by determined deadlines.
8. Provides high quality customer service and participant recruitment in coordination with other Adagio Health initiatives as appropriate.
9. Collaborates with other educators to share ideas.
10. Works/travels in any offices as needed.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

10. Ability to work afterschool/weekend programs.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Series.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in public health, education, or a related field.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to: develop, provide and evaluate education programming.
3. Experience in youth education in a school setting and in public health is desirable.
4. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and have access to a reliable car.
5. Travel is required on a regular basis.
