Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Health Educator, based in New Castle, PA, with some remote work flexibility. The Health Educator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating health education and promotion programs, focusing on improving community health outcomes. This role involves working directly with individuals and groups to provide information on health topics, including nutrition, physical activity, and overall wellness. Additional responsibilities may include developing educational materials, conducting workshops or classes, and collaborating with local organizations to address community health needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health Education, Community Health, and related fields
- Knowledge and experience in Nutrition and promoting healthy eating behaviors
- Background in Physical Education and initiatives aimed at encouraging active lifestyles
- Strong skills in teaching and general Education to deliver effective health programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for community engagement
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Nutrition, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
