Position summary:
The ADAC Electronics Quality Engineer, based out of ADAC's Holland, MI facility, is responsible for providing leadership and quality support to the manufacturing processes and direct interface to customers and suppliers needs (internal and external), in trying to meet and improve on departmental performance objectives and customer scorecards.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Monitor, Maintain and Improve customer scorecards and QOS Metrics (Internal and external)
- Assist Manufacturing meeting production rates and volumes while making acceptable quality parts within the design requirements agreed to by the customer.
- Responsible for submitting customer concerns on time in customers specific systems and formats to maintain green scorecards.
- Problem solving mentor for production/manufacturing concerns.
- Travel throughout US, Canada, and Mexico on customer concerns as needed.
- Lead Manufacturing teams to monitor and maintain dimensional capability through knowledge of SPC.
- Manufacturing/Quality support for all new program launches and engineering changes to ensure ADAC’s safe launch process is in places and followed.
- Verify production process controls (including Control Plans), participate in the development of FMEA's for accuracy to verify that they align with the ADAC and Customer requirements and expectations.
- Customer interface and support during production development and meeting customer deliverables on time.
- Help maintain IATF16949, ISO14001 and other customer assessments and certifications for manufacturing production teams and processes.
- Meeting objectives as defined in performance agreement and completing assignments set forth by management on time.
- Create Alerts and monitor production/product specific actions to maintain/meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Attend core team meetings, staff meetings, customer meetings and participate in OEM online training
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or Technical equivalent experience
- Background in automotive Tier 1 manufacturing, OEM Customer Specific Requirements
- IPC certification or ability to demonstrate competence to standards
- Knowledge of Quality systems and manufacturing Processes skills required
- Experience with quality manufacturing systems, with strengths in problem solving techniques. (Good root cause analysis, vendor related quality, in-process and final inspection)
- 5 or more years of experience as a Mfg Quality Engineer (Lean, CI, Process, Mechanical) ASQ Certification: CQE, CQT – preferred.
- FMEA and Control Plan experience required
- Solid understanding of process variation and core quality tools - SPC, MSA, Process Capability
- Gauge development and buy-off experience
- Dimensional Control and GD&T
- Red-X or Six Sigma (Greenbelt / Black belt)- preferred
- Multi-Lingual - preferred
