Essential Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations including production, quality control, maintenance, and safety operational controls.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team to achieve performance targets and foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management to ensure operational goals are met within allocated resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, engineering, and sales to align production schedules and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support operational needs and cost objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 at the site leadership level or higher.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing facilities with a focus on operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
- Previous experience managing Materials operations within the Tier 1 automotive manufacturing industry.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Certified Manufacturing Engineer.
