Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for the Psychiatric Department while managing provider schedules in collaboration with the Psychiatric Nurse and clinical team.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of client, program, and operational data within the electronic health record (EHR) system and other agency databases.
- Conduct routine data audits to identify discrepancies, improve documentation practices, and support quality assurance, compliance, and accurate reporting.
- Analyze healthcare and program data to identify trends, service metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and opportunities to improve program performance and operational effectiveness.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, outcome measures, PQI reports, and other data tools to support leadership, clinical teams, and organizational decision-making.
- Prepare clear, data-informed reports and recommendations to support workflow improvements, service delivery, compliance initiatives, and program outcomes.
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve EHR workflows, templates, user settings, and system functions, including testing, implementation, data migration, and system enhancements.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to staff on EHR functionality, workflows, and best practices to promote efficient system utilization and data integrity.
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, quality assurance, and leadership teams to support continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, Social Services, or a related field preferred;
- Three years of relevant experience supporting electronic health record (EHR) systems, healthcare reporting, quality improvement, clinical operations, or data management within a healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or human services setting.
- Three years of experience in behavioral health, healthcare, nonprofit, or social service settings preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to collect, organize, review, and maintain accurate information across electronic health record (EHR) systems, reports, spreadsheets, and agency databases.
- Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems, healthcare reporting, client information systems, or agency databases within a healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or human services environment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret healthcare data to identify trends, service metrics, quality indicators, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, data validation, and report development.
- Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that communicate meaningful insights to leadership and program staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies, recommend process improvements, and support quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
- Experience supporting EHR workflows, system configuration, user support, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, and staff training is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare documentation standards, and data privacy requirements, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
