Maintenance Technician

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: Naples, FL
Schedule: 30 hours per week to start

• Monday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

• Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Opportunity to increase to 40 hours per week after a few months based on performance and business needs.

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall condition of the property.

This position involves a variety of responsibilities, with a strong focus on painting, repairs, power washing, and general property maintenance, as well as janitorial and groundskeeping duties. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and can work independently without constant supervision.

• Transport trash and recycling dumpsters to designated collection areas on scheduled pickup days and return them after service.

• Keep trash and recycling areas clean, organized, and free of debris.

• Pick up litter and debris throughout the property grounds and parking areas.

• Perform painting, repairs, power washing, and other basic maintenance tasks.

• Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager and General Manager with maintenance and property-related tasks as needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning materials, tools, and equipment.

• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or building concerns promptly to management.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable property.

• Interact courteously and professionally with residents, visitors, and staff.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds, including dumpsters, recycling bins, tools, and equipment.

• Ability to climb and safely work on ladders up to 6 feet.

• Ability to perform physical work both indoors and outdoors throughout the workday.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks as needed.

• Must be comfortable working with basic maintenance and cleaning equipment.

• Previous maintenance, janitorial, facilities, or property upkeep experience preferred.

• Strong work ethic with a hands-on, go-getter attitude.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of work performed.
