Service Department Cashier

Acura of Valley Stream is looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our service department. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with customers, can stay organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing a smooth, professional experience.

We’re currently hiring for full-time or part-time availability.

Pay:

• $18 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Greet service customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer payments accurately
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
• Provide receipts and maintain accurate payment records
• Answer phones and direct calls as needed
• Assist service customers with basic questions
• Communicate with service advisors and team members
• Help keep the cashier area clean, organized, and customer-ready
• Balance daily transactions
• Provide excellent customer service at every interaction

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
• Automotive dealership or service department experience is a plus
• Strong communication and people skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable handling payments and basic computer tasks
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
