Service Writer
Acura of Bedford Hills is looking for an experienced Service Writer to join our busy service department. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused automotive professional who understands service operations, communicates clearly, and can help create a smooth experience from write-up to vehicle delivery.
We are looking for someone who can build trust with customers, work closely with technicians, and keep the service lane moving efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and write up service repair orders
- Listen to customer concerns and clearly document vehicle issues
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on customer needs and technician findings
- Communicate repair updates, timelines, and estimates to customers
- Review completed work and explain services performed
- Coordinate with technicians, parts department, and service management
- Maintain accurate repair order notes and customer records
- Help ensure a positive customer experience from drop-off to pick-up
- Follow dealership processes and manufacturer guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advisor or service writer experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment
- Organized, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable reviewing repair recommendations and estimates with customers
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Acura or Honda experience is a plus, but not required
