Parts Counter Person
Acura of Bedford Hills is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our dealership team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with automotive parts experience who enjoys helping customers, supporting technicians, and keeping the parts department running efficiently.
Pay:
- $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist retail and wholesale customers with parts inquiries
- Help technicians locate and obtain the correct parts for repairs
- Look up parts using manufacturer and dealership systems
- Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately
- Answer phones and respond to parts requests in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Receive, stock, and organize parts deliveries
- Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and management
- Help keep the parts counter and storage areas clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service at every interaction
Qualifications:
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Dealership parts department experience is a plus
- Acura or Honda parts experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable using computers and parts catalog systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver’s license preferred
