About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Systems Operations Engineer to support and maintain enterprise applications and infrastructure environments. This role is focused on monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of business-critical platforms.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced production environment, supporting systems used across the organization and collaborating with different teams to resolve issues quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor applications and systems using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar platforms
- Troubleshoot system alerts, performance issues, and production incidents
- Handle incident tickets (P1/P2 issues) and ensure timely resolution
- Work with teams to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and prevent recurring issues
- Support Linux/Windows-based systems and enterprise applications
- Execute and monitor batch jobs (Autosys / Control-M / Scheduler tools)
- Use basic scripting (Shell / PowerShell / Python) to automate routine tasks
- Work with ServiceNow/Jira for incident and change management
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in IT Operations / Production Support / Systems Support
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)
- Basic experience with Linux or Windows environments
- Exposure to scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or Python)
- Experience handling production incidents and troubleshooting issues
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
