Oracle Functional Consultant – Contract Manufacturing
Location: Milpitas, CA — 5 days onsite
Employment Type: Contract — C2C / 1099
Acunor is seeking an Oracle Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in outsourced manufacturing, subcontracting, and consigned inventory/Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct current-state discovery covering extended-factory collaboration, subinventory models, spreadsheets, and FileMaker processes; gather data from four extended factories.
- Configure and demonstrate an end-to-end Conference Room Pilot (CRP) for one MP organization, document gaps, and finalize the RICEFW list.
- Develop functional designs for MP organizations, subcontracting processes—including Buy/Sell and Full Outsourcing—JMF profiles, transaction sources, and netting.
- Write functional specifications for Clear-to-Build, contract manufacturer build/WIP status, and outbound Engineering Change Order (ECO) interfaces.
- Lead UAT with business users and a live contract manufacturer.
- Deliver super-user and contract manufacturer portal training.
- Lead cutover activities, conversion reconciliation, and post-go-live hypercare.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on configuration experience with Oracle Outsourced Manufacturing for Discrete Industries (JMF)/subcontracting on at least one project.
- Demonstrated experience in contract manufacturing and consigned inventory/VMI.
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Inventory, Purchasing, Work in Process (WIP), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Experience with multi-org structures and inventory organization setup.
- Direct experience leading CRP and UAT workshops with business users.
- Experience authoring MD050 documents, functional designs, and functional specifications.
- Experience with Outside Processing (OSP) routings, Collaborative Planning, and Oracle Engineering/ECO.
- Semiconductor or capital-equipment manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work onsite in Milpitas, CA, five days per week.
