Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE individual. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our special needs daughter in a home setting working 1 on 1. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work effectively as part of a caregiving plan. You must not be afraid of dogs (we have a dog).
Duties
- Assist her with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow individualized care plan.
- Support her with mobility and lifting as needed, ensuring her comfort and safety.
- Monitor her health status and report any changes or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the living environment.
- Engage with her in meaningful activities that promote her physical and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices, including CPR certification, is highly desirable.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary needs and preferences of her.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a home environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help her improve quality of life.
Hours: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm (40 hours per week)
