Our client is seeking an Actuarial Associate to join their Product Development team, supporting the design, pricing, and implementation of life insurance products. This role is heavily focused on Universal Life (UL), Variable Universal Life (VUL), and Indexed Universal Life (IUL) and offers meaningful exposure to product innovation, reinsurance, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Build, validate, and maintain pricing models for complex life insurance products
- Evaluate and interpret model results, applying actuarial judgment to explain outcomes and answer questions
- Prepare pricing packages for internal approval and partner carrier review
- Document model updates, assumptions, and analytical results
- Support testing and analysis across administration and illustration systems
- Develop, analyze, and document pricing assumptions and objectives
- Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain and refine pricing frameworks
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or a related field
- ASA designation completed or near completion
- 4 years of actuarial experience
- Experience with actuarial pricing software (ALFA, AXIS or Prophet)
- Strong product knowledge across UL, VUL, and IUL
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills across internal teams, carriers, and external partners
Salary : $90,000 - $135,000
