The Manufacturing Production Test Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining automated production test equipment within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, validating, maintaining, and improving End-of-Line (EOL) test systems used to verify product quality and functionality before shipment.
The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, and Test Development teams to minimize downtime, improve test system reliability, and support new product introductions. This position is heavily focused on manufacturing operations, production testing, and equipment performance—not IT or customer support activities
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production test equipment and automated test stations to quickly resolve manufacturing issues
- Maintain and support End-of-Line (EOL) test systems used in electronics manufacturing
- Perform validation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of test equipment
- Investigate test failures and support root cause analysis activities
- Partner with Test Development Engineers to validate and release new test stations into production
- Support new product introductions by validating manufacturing test processes and equipment readiness
- Monitor tester performance and implement corrective actions to improve uptime, yield, and reliability
- Work with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S activities
- Train production personnel on proper use of testing equipment and best practices
- Support CAPA investigations and drive corrective actions for recurring manufacturing test issues
- Assist in the design, implementation, and validation of test fixtures, jigs, and production testing solutions

Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in:Electronics Technology, Mechatronics Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- At least 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting production equipment, automated testers, or manufacturing system
- Understanding of electrical and electronic component
- Experience with production testing, diagnostics, and failure analysis
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office application
