Core Responsibilities
- Provider Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community optometrists and referring providers
- Serve as the primary external point of contact for provider questions, referral support, and collaboration
- Conduct regular in-person visits to referral partners
- Identify opportunities to strengthen OD–MD collaboration
- Referral Pipeline Development
- Support growth of referrals for:
- Cataract surgery
- Retina care
- Glaucoma management
- Oculoplastics
- Specialty ophthalmology services
- Work with practices to ensure referral pathways are efficient and patient access is timely
- Assist providers with appropriate referral protocols and scheduling processes
- Communication & Care Coordination
- Facilitate communication between referring providers and AEG practices
- Ensure clinical updates, surgical outcomes, and care plans are communicated back to referring providers
- Support practices in maintaining high-quality provider communication standards

Required:
