Job Title: Helpdesk Level 1 Technician (IT Support & AI Development)
Location: Albany, NY
Schedule: Full-Time Mon-Fri Onsite 7a-4p or 8-5p with 1 hour lunch

Acture Solutions is looking for a motivated and service-minded Helpdesk Level 1 Technician to join our on-site support team at the Albany, NY Corporate Office. This dual role serves as the first point of contact for end-user IT support while also contributing to AI initiatives and application development projects under the direction of the CIO. What You’ll Do
· Respond to and resolve Tier 1 helpdesk tickets via phone, email, and ticketing system (Autotask/Kaseya)
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and M365/Azure AD issues for end users
· Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 engineers with thorough documentation
· Assist the CIO with AI and automation projects including prompt engineering, workflow design, and platform testing
· Participate in development of internal tools and business applications
· Support data entry, QA testing, and documentation for development and AI initiatives
· Maintain internal knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures
What You Bring
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Associate’s degree in computer science related field or equivalent experience preferred.
· Familiarity with Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities across technical support and project work
· Genuine interest in AI tools, automation, and software development
Skills for Success
· Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues effectively
· Basic understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory
· Exposure to ticketing systems, remote support tools, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
· Familiarity with Autotask PSA, Kaseya/Datto RMM is a plus
· Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot is a plus
