Quality Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Apple Valley, CA. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on maintaining the highest standards of excellence in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Hands-on Inspection: Lead receiving, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections.
- Documentation: Execute AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and maintain meticulous quality records.
- Problem Solving: Manage Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), CAPAs, and Nonconformance (NC) investigations.
- Metrology: Program and operate CMM equipment and utilize optical/laser measurement systems.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Proven background in a hands-on manufacturing quality role (Aerospace preferred).
- Technical Skills: Expert-level GD&T interpretation and blueprint reading.
- Tools: Experience with CMM, metrology equipment, and Microsoft Excel.
- Mindset: A proactive approach to validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and MRB support.
