Automotive Technician – Part Time Summer Co-Op Placement

Part Time – Approximately 24 Hours Per Week

Acton Ford is seeking a motivated student currently enrolled in a high school or college automotive technical program for a part-time summer technician position, with the potential to continue into a formal co-op learning placement during the fall semester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain real-world dealership experience while continuing their automotive education in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance services
- Tire mounting, balancing, and rotations
- Oil changes and fluid services
- Vehicle inspections and basic shop support
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and dealership standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an automotive technical program at the high school or college level
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with hand tools
- Work permit rules may apply depending on age and school requirements
- Acceptable academic performance both overall and within area of trade concentration
