Job Description
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer / Engineer with strong hands-on experience in CMDB, Discovery, and ServiceNow platform configuration. This is a key role within our growing ServiceNow practice, responsible for designing and implementing CMDB-driven solutions that enhance data accuracy, automation, and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions with a focus on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and SAM modules
- Configure CI classes, relationship models, identification/reconciliation rules
- Develop automation using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Orchestration
- Perform CMDB audits, reconciliation, and data quality improvements
- Troubleshoot CMDB, integration, and platform performance issues
- Support upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement
- Work within Agile methodology — sprint planning, demos, retrospectives
Must-Have Skills
- 3 years of ServiceNow development or engineering experience
- Strong CMDB, CI relationship, and Discovery pattern knowledge
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer
- Experience with ITSM / ITOM / ITAM / SAM
- Knowledge of MID Server, REST/SOAP, JDBC integrations
- Ability to create technical documentation and solution design specs
