Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, and water trucks with precision and safety.
- Perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement as required for construction projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Assist in concrete operations and other related construction activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment used.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes,dump trucks, water trucks, and other construction machinery.
- Commercial driving skills with a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and site plans.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments for extended periods.
