We are looking for caring and dependable staff who want to make a difference and have fulfillment in their lives by working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Staff will work in day program, community, and business settings. Staff ensure that individuals are in a healthy and safe environment. Staff will serve as appropriate role models and assist individuals with day to day skills including behavior, communication, social skills, meals, personal care/hygiene, classes, outings and leisure activities. Staff working in community outings will be required to supervise and assist individuals in participating in meaningful community activities.
Staff is required to have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
Staff is responsible to complete job required trainings in a timely manner. Must be able to communicate effectively and appropriately on a regular basis with Staff Lead and Program Director. Will be required to monitor and document the progress of individuals receiving services. Must be able to manage time and complete tasks within specified timelines.
Staff MUST pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
