- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
- Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accurate and organized recordkeeping
- Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for case development
- Track case deadlines and court dates, ensuring timely filing and compliance with procedural law requirements
- Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance, confidentiality handling, and summarizing key information for attorneys
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience supporting civil litigation or personal injury law cases
- Strong knowledge of procedural law, legal research methods, and case management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Experience with legal administrative support tasks including document review, proofreading, transcription, filing, and data entry
- Familiarity with legal support software like iManage and PCLaw is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining professionalism at all times
