What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Active Consulting Services LLC?
For the GM, we are looking for someone that is 100% committed to moving to northern Michigan.
We are looking for someone that we hope will be looking to be here long term. Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR.
Key experience:
- P&L responsibility – must have
- Union experience and contract negotiations – Company is a UAW shop with 150 union members currently and growing
- Has had sales, marketing, quality, engineering, operations, finance, and HR reporting (not all are must haves, but preferred) must have had finance, operations,and HR.
- Safety responsibility is a must
- Defense experience - Contract knowledge, DCMA are a plus. Company has internal employees such as the director of sales and director of contracts along withothers who have been with the company for a significant amount of time and know the products and the workings of dealing with the department of defense, but if this person had the experience it is a great plus.
- Engineering background
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
