Event ID Check Associate | Seasonal, Hourly
Activated Events is hiring ID Check Associates to verify guest age and apply 21 wristbands at our 2026 Smoke Show music festival on Saturday, October 24th. This is a guest-facing alcohol-compliance role, not a security position — you'll work near our on-site security team, but your job is simple: check ID, apply the wristband, keep the line moving, and keep it friendly.
What You’ll Do
- Check government-issued ID and apply 21 wristbands at the gate or designated stations
- Spot fraudulent, altered, or invalid IDs and know when to ask for a second look
- Keep lines moving efficiently during peak arrival periods without rushing the process
- Monitor for wristband tampering or sharing within your station and flag concerns to a supervisor
- Coordinate with Bar/Beverage and Guest Services staff to keep age-verification consistent across the event
- Refer any escalation, dispute, or difficult guest interaction to the nearby contracted security team — you're never expected to handle it yourself
- Follow all Activated Events safety procedures, policies, and uniform standards
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current Title IV (Responsible Beverage Service) certification required before working any event — or willingness to obtain before your first shift
- Sharp attention to detail and good judgment under time pressure
- Comfortable on your feet outdoors, in a high-energy crowd, for a full shift
- Friendly, calm demeanor — even when you have to say no
- Available for evenings, weekends, and holiday event dates
Pay: $20.00/hour, non-exempt — subject to applicable state minimum wage requirements
