An international automotive manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their company in the Delaware, Ohio area. The ideal candidate has at least 2-4 years of logistics and supply chain coordination in the automotive industry. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
- Update logistics information, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company system(s)
- Plan shipments and track deliveries from preparation to final destination
- Communicate with customers in regard to status updates and address any urgent questions, requests, or issues
- Coordinate with sales department and track inventory levels to ensure accurate delivery of product
- Market analysis and assisting with product demand forecasting
- Creation of activity and inventory reports for upper management
- Other duties as assigned
Logistics Coordinator Requirements Include:
- Associate’s degree in a business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
- Previous 2-4 years’ work experience in logistics, customer service, purchasing, or related field preferred, ideally within an automotive manufacturing environment
- Good computer skills with specific proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication ability in a multicultural environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and good organizational skills
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
