Korean / English Bilingual Shipping and Receiving Specialist (35391)

Global tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer is looking for Korean / English Bilingual Shipping/ Receiving Specialist to join their team near Montgomery, AL. Ideal candidate will have minimum 1-3 years of supply chain experience in automotive industry. This position is full-time / direct-hire opening with comprehensive benefit package.

This is What You’ll Do for our Korean / English Bilingual Shipping/ Receiving Specialist:

• Responsible for inventory control of supplies/materials and finished products
• Maintain inventory level by tracking and forecasting production level and order status
• Analyze existing inventory system and continuously improve for cost reduction and higher efficiency in supply chain process etc.
• Communicate with shipping companies for both international & domestic order deliveries
• Maintain communications along with other departments regarding order specifications and prevent for possible damage/ loss/ complaint from customers.
• Responsible for inventory planning, analysis and reports to upper management and main corporate HQ
• Analyze present and past order progress reports and make suggestions to prevent any delays/ issues with orders.
• Report to management with summarized status report and revised plan for improvement how to increase sales level with their products.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

This is What You’ll Need for our Korean / English Bilingual Shipping/ Receiving Specialist:

• Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of supply chain experience in automotive industry
• Excellent Communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and Presentation Skills
• ERP experience will be ideal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) - Advanced level of Microsoft EXCEL skill is required
• Business-Level in Korean and English (Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening)
• Must have professional interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, and collaboration ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Problem-solving and time management skills
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands. This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
