3rd Shift Maintenance Group Leader (36398)

A manufacturer of automotive parts near the LaSalle, IL area is looking for a 3rd shift Industrial Maintenance Group Leader. You will be responsible for ensuring maintenance goals are met. You will oversee the maintenance team & 3rd shift activities. The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance leadership within an industrial environment.

In addition to salary, you will be paid TIME-AND-A-HALF for any time worked over 40 hours

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance team

• Coach, mentor, and train maintenance department associates

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment

• Work on electrical and mechanical equipment

• Ensure the maintenance work goals are met

Requirements:

• Industrial Electrician Certificate OR related Associate’s degree

• 4 years’ experience in industrial maintenance preferred

• Strong electrical experience (motors & controls)

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting

• Knowledge with Hydraulics & Pneumatics

• Previous experience within a supervisory/lead role preferred

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment responsibly & effectively

• Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
