A global industrial supplier based in Troy, Michigan area is seeking Entry Level Korean-English Bilingual Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate has to be Bilingual in Korean and English and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities- Entry Level Korean-English Bilingual Supply Chain Specialist:
- Coordinating with U.S. Customs to support and facilitate import and export operations
- Managing import scheduling, import-related documentation, and weekly import settlement processes
- Communicating and coordinating with external partners such as freight forwarders, overseas vendors, customers, carriers, and shipping companies to support logistics operations
- Ensuring full regulatory compliance across all international trade transactions
- Processing purchase orders and overseeing FOB cost management
- Maintaining shipping plans, HS codes, and country-of-origin classifications
- Following up on quality claims and submitting verified supporting documentation
- Performing additional trade-related functions as needed, including free trade agreement support, duty drawback initiatives, internal audits, and transaction reviews
Requirements – Entry Level Korean-English Bilingual Supply Chain Specialist:
- Bachelors in Supply chain management, Business Administration and related field
- Business-level of both Korean and English language skill is must (Speaking / Listening / Reading / Writing)
- Minimum 1-2 years of international customs / trading (import & export) experience in Logistics / Manufacturing / Freight Forwarding industries preferred
- Advanced proficiency using MS Office Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision
