Accounting Specialist -- Automotive Industry (36418)

An international automotive component manufacturer in the Northville, MI area is seeking an Accounting Specialist responsible for assisting the accounting department.

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable and receivable support
• General ledger posting and account reconciliation
• Daily cash and monthly bank account reconciliation
• Month-end and quarterly closing activities
• Assist with quarterly review and year-end audits
• Support preparation of insurance and tax information
• Other tasks as necessary

Accounting Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 2 years of related accounting experience
• Microsoft Excel experience
• Experience with ERP or accounting software like Oracle is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
