A machine/tooling components manufacturer near the Simsbury, CT area is seeking a Sales Account Manager. This position will focus on both business development and account management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Sales – specifically with CNC/Tooling machinery.
COMMISSION INCLUDED (.5% of total sales)
This is a full-time direct-hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on creating new customer base
- Regular communication with prospective & new customers
- Handle customer sales orders and update price lists
- Communicate customer requirements with internal departments
- Create quotes based on customer requirements and company policy
- Address customer questions/concerns
Requirements:
- 2 years technical degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (CNC/Tooling related is preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Open to 50-70% travel
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
- Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- Japanese language/culture experience is a plus (not required)
