An industrial parts manufacturer in the Lawrenceviile, GA area is seeking a Warehouse Manager responsible for overall operations of the warehouse.
Responsibilities of Warehouse Manager - Manufacture:
- Manage day to day operations of warehouse
- Ensure product is received, stored, picked and sent accurately and efficiently
- Ensure product reaches customers in timely and accurate manner
- Determine staffing requirements and hire and train new staff members
- Lead general warehouse and shipping and receiving activities
- Conduct staff meetings to relay general information to warehouse team
- Analyze and maintain records and reports as necessary
- Other job duties are assigned as needed
Qualifications of Warehouse Manager - Manufacture:
- Bachelor's Degree with Business, Supply Chain Management, and/or similiar discipline
- At least 8 years of warehouse experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- At least 4 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Inventory control
- Forklift operation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
