An international automotive parts manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced Die Maintenance Coordinator to join their facility in the northwestern Dayton, Ohio area. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in maintenance and production scheduling, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and colleagues. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Die Maintenance Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee day-to-day scheduling and planning for industrial maintenance activities and associates
- Act as first point of contact for any maintenance and quality issues encountered during production, and escalate issues to management as needed
- Ensure proper inventory levels necessary for tool and die equipment
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure standard compliance
- Collaborate with management regarding continuous improvement initiatives for the die maintenance department
- Maintain documentation on safety compliance and daily production rates
- Other duties as assigned
Die Maintenance Coordinator Requirements Include:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED is required
- Previous hands-on experience in die set-up and maintenance (preferably stamping / press equipment)
- Understanding of continuous improvement / Kaizen systems
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and leadership ability in a multicultural environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and good organizational skills
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
