A food processing machinery company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Sales Representative to join their team in Teterboro, NJ. This position is responsible for developing new clients as well as maintaining existing clients. A bachelor's degree, over 3 years of sales in a related field, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to speak conversational Japanese is required. This is a full-time position, in person, exempt position with excellent benefits, and 401k. (M-F 9:00-5:30)
Bilingual English/Japanese Sales Representative Duties:
-Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, etc
-Visiting prospective customers and conducting sales promotions
-Preparing quotations and negotiating prices with customers
-Demonstrating machines in the showroom or at customer sites (may involve carrying heavy machines)
-Delivering machines and providing operation training upon delivery
-Providing after-sales support to customers
-Attending internal sales meetings
-Preparing sales activity reports for the manager
-Supporting technical team and other departments as needed
Bilingual English/Japanese Sales Representative Skills:
-Must have a bachelors degree
-Must speak conversational Japanese
-Must have over 3 years sales experience in related industries
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Words, PowerPoint)
-Interest in Japanese (food) culture
