An Asian food, beverage distributer is currently seeking a motivated Administrative / Accounting Assistant to join their facility in the Schaumburg, IL area.
Administrative / Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
· Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
· Manage daily emails / phone calls (forward calls to appropriate staff members)
· Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments for associates and managers
· Manage calendars, appointments
· Maintain filing systems as assigned
· Ordering of office supplies as directed by management
· Respond to and address administrative inquiries and questions
· Communicate and maintain good relationships with clients
· Perform other related duties as assigned including attending corporate events
Administrative / Accounting Assistant Requirements:
· Prefer relevant administrative or customer service
· Must be able to speak, read and write business level English
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems
· Ability to work independently
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
