Responsibilities
- Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation to aid daily operations.
- Assists in movement of equipment, racks, boxes, pallets. Assists in cleanup and restoration of facilities to pre-install conditions.
- Disposes of waste materials. Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved ISP/OSP solution.
- Operates hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
- May clean and prepare sites; dig trenches; set braces to support the sides of excavations; erect scaffolding; and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
- Assists in the installation of ISP/OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets and equipment.
- Racks and stacks network devices.
- Performs cable dressing, labeling, and documentation. Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work.
- Degree: High School diploma;
- Experience: 5 years;
- Specific Skills: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;
